Can I use "SmartDial" if my caller ID is blocked?

Yes, you can. If you are saving 'SmartDial' Number into your phone's memory you have to save it with *82 in front of it (*82 646 xxx yyyy). Caller ID of your phone will still be blocked if you are placing any other calls. 

Does StanaCard pinless dialing work with all service providers?

Yes. If your phone service provider supports caller ID. Some internet phone service providers like Skype for example, do not provide its users with caller ID for outbound calls. In this case you would need to use your account's PIN number that we give to you as soon as you activate your account 

How can I place an international call from my phone using StanaCard SmartDial?

Make sure you are calling from a phone registered with StanaCard. All you have to do is dial the local "SmartDial" number. You will be connected immediately. 

How can I place an international call from my phone without using StanaCard SmartDial?

After you sign up, you can start making international calls from any of the registered on your account phone right away using StanaCard Access Numbers. Our system recognizes your phone and automatically provides you a dial tone. When the dial tone begins, dial 011 and the international number you wish to reach. Please make sure NOT TO press "SEND" key after dialing the international number (at this time you are already connected to StanaCard). 

How do I know if my Caller ID is blocked?

If your phone number is not recognized by caller ID of the receiving phone it means that your number is blocked. In order for our system to identify your account, you have to unblock it. To unblock dial *82 before dialing a SmartDial or Access Number (*82 646 xxx yyyy). *82 will unblock caller ID of your telephone for placing this specific call. 

I placed a call from my phone but the system is asking me for a PIN code.

First, check if the number you are calling from is registered with StanaCard. You can view the list of your registered numbers in the "Registered Phones" section of StanaCard Online Manager. If the number is registered, make sure that the Caller ID of this phone is not blocked. 

Is it possible to place a call from a phone that is not registered on the account?

Yes. It is possible. Simply dial a SmartDial or Access Number and when the system asks you for a PIN code enter your 14 digits PIN that you can see in the lower left side of your account information page below your Registered Numbers. 

Is there a PIN code that I need to dial when making a call through an Access Number from one of the registered on my account telephone numbers?

No. StanaCard recognizes your account by your registered phone's caller ID when you call the StanaCard Access Number. 

Will I ever get a busy signal when I place a call using StanaCard?

No, you will not get a busy signal. We have an advanced digital switching system that will identify your phone and will automatically give you a dial tone. The only way you can get a busy signal if the line of your destination is busy and it doesn't have call waiting.

Can I use StanaCard from any phone I want?

Yes. You can use StanaCard PINless dialing from any phone registered on your StanaCard account. Registration of phone numbers that belong to other people or companies is not allowed. If you are calling from a phone that is not registered on your account you would need to use a PIN number that our system issues to your account as soon as the account becomes activated. 

Can I use StanaCard from any place in the Unites States?

You can use StanaCard anywhere in the United States. However, if you are calling from your phone outside of your local area, significant roaming or long distance charges may apply when you dial the StanaCard Access or SmartDial Number. For more details contact your phone service provider. 

Can I use StanaCard to call any country in the world?

You can make calls to over 180 countries around the world using your StanaCard service. You can see a complete list of the countries and rates by clicking here. 

Can StanaCard be used to make calls from countries other than the United States and Canada?

Yes. Please see our "Access Numbers" page to see which countries are currently covered by our service. 

What is StanaCard Access Number?

StanaCard has more than 200 Access Numbers all over the country. Dial an Access Number from any phone registered on your account. If you do not have an account with StanaCard, sign up today and start saving money on international calls from your mobile and home phones.

RATES AND FEES


Do your rates change depending on what time of the day I call?

No. As a StanaCard customer you get the same low rates no matter what time of the day/week you call. 

Does my cellular service provider charge me when I call from my mobile phone using StanaCard?

Yes. Your wireless service provider's applicable charges always apply whenever you make a call. You receive StanaCard's low rates for the international part of your call. 

Is there a connection fee for the calls I place?

StanaCard does not charge any connection fees. You only pay for the minutes you use. 

Is there a difference in rates if I call from home or cell phone?

No, there is no difference; you will get the same low rates calling from home, office, or cell phone. 

What is the monthly and/or annual fee for StanaCard?

StanaCard does not charge any monthly or annual fees - you only pay for the number of minutes you actually talk, based on the low per minute rates. 

Why do some countries have higher rates on calls to mobile phones?

In certain countries mobile users do not pay for incoming calls to their mobile phone. Therefore, wireless service providers charge more to the calling party to connect the call.

SIGNING UP AND CANCELLATION


Can I have more than one account with StanaCard?

Unfortunately NO. StanaCard allows to have only one account per person. 

Can I register more than one phone number?

Yes. You can register up to 20 local numbers on your account. 

Do I get my PIN code as soon as I create an account?

No. Our system automatically generate your PIN code for your account as soon as you activate your account by placing the first call that gets connected through one of our Access or SmartDial numbers. 

How can I cancel the service?

You can stop using StanaCard service at any time. There are no contracts and no cancellation penalties so there is no actual need to close the account. If you still would like to completely close your account please send us an email to support@stanacard.com and one of our representatives will close it for you.  

How do I sign up?

Click here to register. You will get an email confirming that your service has been enabled and you can start making calls instantly. Working Email address is required to sign up (it will serve as your login name for StanaCard Online Manager). 

How soon can I start using the service after registration?

Instantly! 

I do not have my own phone. Can I register my friend's phone number on my account instead?

Unfortunately NO. StanaCard allows to register only personal phone numbers that belong to the owner of the account. Registration of work / office / public or other kinds of phones that you have no control over is not allowed for the security reasons.

BILLING AND PAYMENT


Can I use my friend's credit card with his permission?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Usage of calling cards that don't belong to the owner of account is stictly forbidden because of the serious security issues. StanaCard automatically and immediately closes accounts that are trying to use or already using credit cards that do not belong to the account owner. There is no exceptions are made. Also, credentials associated with such accounts (email address, phone numbers, etc.) get banned from the future usage with any of our services.  

How do I review my account status and charges?

All your account information can be viewed real-time via StanaCard Online Manager, accessible via the Web 24x7x365. You can view details of all calls you placed, all charges made to your credit card and the balance available on your account. 

I've sent a referral email to my friend but I have not get the Bonus Credit on my account yet.

Please make sure that your friend entered your referral code on signup and already activated his account by making a successful call through a SmartDial or Access Number. If he did enter your referral code and already made a successful call through one of our SmartDial or Access Numbers please contact us at support@stanacard.com. 

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. 

What is the billing increment?

All calls are charged in one minute increments. 

Will I get a bill in the mail for all my call charges?

No. StanaCard does not send out a paper bill. By eliminating this unnecessary expense we are able to pass more savings on to you. You can view your account information in StanaCard Online Manager.
